This shift rod bushing is a substantial upgrade over the stock Factory style, and lasts sustainably longer than other aftermarket examples due to its superior design. Incredibly easy to install with its integrated snap lock feature, no retainer clip is required. Just position the bushing and snap it into place. Once the snap is heard, it’s firmly locked into place. If you wish to remove simply use 90 degree pliers to compress the bushing and remove from the shift rod hanger. It’s recommended to use dry graphite lube with this product to insure longevity and limit part ware. Also if your current shift rod hanger is very worn and the bushing doesn't hold tight, or moves around its recommended to replace your shift rod hanger with a new aftermarket part.
