CNC cut and finished in a heavy duty hammer tone silver powder coating these window frame fixtures are great when installing a new nose skin or windshield frame on your split bus. We have been using these for year and it greatly helps eliminate the guess work on locating your new front end, while speeding up the entire process. These fixtures will pay themselves off on the first use and help you feel confident that the windshield frame is at the correct height.
To use, simply clamp in place with a flat style vice grip clamp making sure the top of the fixture is touching the upper windshield frame while the side is in full contact as well. Do this on the left and right sides. Now taking your new nose skin that should already be attached to your new windshield frame off the vehicle start to fit them. Raising the nose skin/windshield frame upward until it contacts the lower portion of the fixture. The height is now set. Using another flat style vice grip clamp the windshield frame flange to dash flange using the corner notch built into the fixture. After double checking that the two fixtures and contacting properly on all sides the height is now set. You can now begin adding more clamps and finalizing the nose skin/windshield frame install.
